About Joe Capko

Joe CapkoJoe Capko is senior consultant and partner with Capko & Morgan. He specializes in strategic planning, business development and marketing research. He has designed and implemented a wide range of studies ranging from patient satisfactions surveys to community needs assessments for clients such as Lovelace Health System and The Sage Group, Inc.

Prior to his work in healthcare, Joe fielded public opinion polls for the Public Research Institute and later accepted a position with the San Francisco Department of City Planning and CCH Computax, an innovator in computerized tax processing.  At CCH, Joe designed and built database systems used by Big Six accounting firms. Joe later worked in technology media, fielding many studies for PC World Magazine, including the prestigious World Class Awards. This analytical experience has been invaluable in his consulting to medical practices and health systems across the country.

A graduate of San Francisco State University in 1986, Joe received BA degrees in Political Science and Urban Planning. His ten years of experience with statistical research informed his recent, successful stints in sales, marketing, and business development for a variety of companies. Applying this accumulated knowledge in the healthcare industry has yielded impressive results. In his spare time, Joe is a technical mentor for the United States Air Force Association’s CyberPatriot Program.
